Sami Lane (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock) of the Lock Haven University women's basketball team has been named this week's GoLHU.com female athlete of the week.

Lane had a career week last week, as she led The Haven offense in both of the team’s games.

Lane had a huge hand in LHU’s win over Slippery Rock on Wednesday, which snapped a seven game losing streak.

She came off of the bench and scored a career-high 21 points. She dished out three assists in the game and shot 9-of-18 from the field.

Saturday, Lane was at it again. She started against CAL and set a new career-high with 27 points and recorded three steals.

Lane averaged 24.0 points per game for the week to go along with 2.5 steals and 2.0 rebounds.
