Brianna Jennings (Wyalusing, Pa./Wyalusing) of the Lock Haven University softball team has been named the www.GoLhu.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Brianna Jennings had another huge week in the circle for Lock Haven. Jennings helped LHU go 4-2 overall by going 4-1 in the circle. Over the six game span, she logged 24.1 innings in five total appearances.

She recorded a remarkable 0.58 ERA and 25 Ks. Jennings held the opposition to a .234 batting average. One of her most dominating performances of the week came in a game-one win over PSAC-Central foe Clarion. She struck out 10 and scattered five hits on the way to her 10th win of the year.

Jennings helped her own cause by going 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run and four RBIs. She drove in a run in the top of the second and her three-run home run in the top of the sixth sparked a six-run inning for the Lady Eagles.
