Lock Haven Athletics

Chelsea Borinno (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) of the Lock Haven University Lacrosse team has been named this week's GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Borrino enjoyed a record-breaking tear on the way to helping LHU to a 2-0 week to close out the 2013 regular season. A pair of PSAC wins last week, ran The Haven's win streak to 11 matches and helped the Lady Eagles claim their first undefeated run (11-0) in conference play since 1991.

Over the two-game span, Borrino had 14 points. She scored two goals and had 12 assists.

Ten of her 12 assists game in the season-finale against Mercyhurst. The 10 assists are an LHU and PSAC single game record. She now has 58 assists this year, which is also a single-season record at Lock Haven.
