Alex Monroe, of the Lock Haven Men's Cross Country team, is this week's www.golhu.com Male Athlete of the Week.
For the fourth time this season,Monroe was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.  The senior led the No. 13 Bald Eagles to a second-place finish at the Penn State National Invitational on Friday. Monroe was fourth overall (out of 65), crossing the 5.2 mile course in the 26:27.  Monroe stayed with The Haven pack for most of the race, but chased down the leaders over the last mile, kicking out nearly nine runners before the finish line.
