Junior Vanita Moses (Levittown, Pa., Neshaminy) of the Lock Haven University women’s track and field team is recognized as GoLHU.com’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Moses made her presence known in the field as she won the hammer throw this past weekend at the Bucknell Team Challenge.

Her heave of 162-6 provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division II Championships.

Moses is now ranked No. 2 on the PSAC leader board.

The junior thrower entered the outdoor season after being recognized as the PSAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week twice during the indoor season.

Moses and the Bald and Lady Eagles are back in action as they travel to the University of Pennsylvania for the prestigious Penn Relays on Thursday (April 28).
