Marrysa Moyer, of the Lock Haven University women’s basketball team, is this week’s
www.GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.
Moyer, a junior-guard was named to the Second Team after leading the Lady Eagle all year and proving to be one of the best all-around players in the conference.
She finished the season with 14.8 points per game and 8.6 rebounds a game, which ranked her 11
th and seventh, respectively in the PSAC.
Moyer recorded eight double-doubles on the year, including a 25-point, 11-rebound effort vs. nationally-ranked Gannon in mid-December.
She finished with a season-high 18 rebounds at Shippensburg early in the season.
In 25 games played (23 starts), she shot 42 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free-throw line.
Moyer also had 48 assists, 39 steals and 16 blocks.
