Jessica Pandolf, of the Lock Haven lacrosse team, is this week's GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.
Thanks to the sensational all-around play by last year's Division II Midfielder of the Year, Jessica Pandolf, the No. 8 Lady Eagles flexed their muscles with a pair of PSAC wins, both over nationally-ranked teams.
Pandolf led Lock Haven past No. 15 Bloomsburg 10-5 as the Lady Eagles broke open a tight game in the second half and on Saturday, LHU dominated its biggest rival in No. 13 West Chester on the way to a 9-6 win. Over the two game span, Pandolf scored five goals, including a hat trick vs. Bloomsburg. In the 9-6 win at West Chester, she scored two goals, recorded an assist, grabbed five ground balls, won seven draw controls and caused two turnovers as she did it all for The Haven.
The Lady Eagles host No. 13 Mercyhurst today, April 9 at 4 pm.
