Junior Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) had an outstanding showing at the Dowling Tournament this past weekend. Gao had 14 kills, 10 digs, and two blocks in the first game of the tournament against Charleston University. She backed that up with 11 kills, three service aces, and an outstanding .397 hitting percentage in game two against Bentley College. In the final game of the tournament against No. 22 Dowling College, Xuan posted 21 kills, three assists, six digs, three solo blocks and five assisted blocks while leading the Lady Eagles to the upset.
