George Christas of the football team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

The Preseason All-American was all over the field for Lock Haven, leading the defense in Saturday’s win over Cheyney. The 28-0 shutout was LHU’s first shutout in 12 years. Christas finished with two tackles, two huge fumble recoveries and an interception (his second of the season).

The weekly GoLHU.com Athletes of the Week are presented by Susquehanna Trailways, the official Motorcoach company of LHU Athletics. http://www.susquehannabus.com/
