Rachael McDaniel of the women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.

Over the first games of the season, McDaniel averaged a team-high 17.5 points per game, to go along with 4.5 rebounds. She had career-games on back-to-back nights. On Friday vs. Bowie State, she netted a then career-high of 14 points, while adding seven rebounds. McDaniel followed it up with a career-high 21 points vs. Johnson C. Smith on Saturday.
