Dylan Mountain of the LHU men’s indoor track & field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Competing on Friday (Jan. 30) as one of only two NCAA Division II runners in the 5,000 meter invitational field at the Penn State National – one of the premier indoor meets of the season – Mountain took full advantage. He placed fifth and was the top DII finisher in the elite field with a sizzling time of 14:36.55. The PSAC qualifying time is the best time run so far this season among all PSAC runners by nearly 16 seconds. The NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark, ranks Mountain eighth among all DII runners this season. It was also the fourth fastest time in school history.
