Rachel Ward of the LHU women’s lacrosse team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.

Senior Rachel Ward was once again a force to be reckoned with as the Lady Eagles opened PSAC action with 12-5 win over IUP. After an IUP goal in the third minute of action, Ward sparked The Haven offense with three straight goals in eight minutes to give LHU a, 3-1 lead. Ward finished the day with a game-high six goals.
