Lock Haven Athletics

Senior Leslie Ahern (Getzville, N.Y./Williamsville North) of the Lock Haven University field hockey team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week for her recent efforts on the field.
 
Earlier this week, she was named  Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Player of the Week.
 
Ahern helped the Lady Eagles to a 2-1 record, last week.
 
She scored a team-best four goals and recorded nine points.
 
In a 6-0 win over Robert Morris, Ahern was the story as she netted the hat trick. She started the game by setting up the first and eventual game-winning goal on a penalty corner.
 
The speedy Ahern put LHU up 1-0 on Sunday vs. Bucknell, but LHU couldn’t hang on and lost 2-1 in overtime.
