Rachel Mouillesseaux of the LHU softball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.

Sophomore pitcher Rachel Mouillesseaux led Lock Haven to a 3-1 start to PSAC East play last week. After an 18-day layoff Mouillesseaux and LHU took the field at Shippensburg and swept the Red Raiders on Thursday, before splitting with Millersville on Saturday. Mouillesseaux picked up the win in the circle in each Haven victory. She was 3-0 (2 GS) with a 0.79 ERA. She struck out 17 and limited the opposition to a .155 batting average over 17.2 innings. In the game-one victory over Shippensburg, she threw a two-hitter (6 Ks). She struck out eight in her win over Millersville.
