Lock Haven Athletics

Stephanie Whiteman of the LHU field hockey team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways / GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.
 
Whiteman continues to lead the way for a tremendous Lock Haven defensive unit. Last week, she recorded three defensive saves and scored the game-winner on Friday vs. Rider in double-OT. Whiteman recorded a defensive save in all three wins last week, including Sunday’s narrow 2-1 win over first-place (A-10) Davidson. On Friday, she converted a penalty stroke in double-OT to give Lock Haven a thrilling win over Rider.
