J.J Hilliard of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Senior J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) led LHU to pair of key PSAC East wins last week. She averaged 20.5 points per game in wins over Cheyney and Bloomsburg, scoring 25 and 16 points, respectively. Hilliard’s 25 points vs. Cheyney matched a career-high. She also had five rebounds and five assists. She added 16 points in a huge win over Bloomsburg. Hilliard had five assists and four boards vs. Bloomsburg. Lock Haven has won four of its last five and is pushing closer to its second straight PSAC tournament appearance, something LHU hasn’t done in nearly 25 years.
