Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Jalyn Shelton-Burleigh (State College, Pa./State College) has picked a good time to play the best basketball of her rookie season and has LHU knocking on the door of a playoff berth. Last week, the freshman led all Lock Haven scorers with 13.5 points per game, while also grabbing five rebounds per game. Shelton-Burleigh netted a career-high and team-high 14 points vs. regionally-ranked Shippensburg. She also had three rebounds. She followed it up with 13 points and seven rebounds vs. ESU.
