Evan McFarland of the LHU baseball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

McFarland has been a machine behind the plate and on offense for the Bald Eagles. His .415 batting average leads the team.

In the first PSAC East series of the year against Kutztown, McFarland was 7-for-14 with eight RBIs, three doubles, a homerun, and 4 runs scored.  McFarland has been the anchor for the high-octane Bald Eagle offense, leading the way in most offensive statistics.

The Bald Eagles are back in action this Saturday (March 19^th) when they take on Penn State-Schuylkill in a double header at Foundation Field.
