Junior 3B Michelle Holweger (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn)
Last week, LHU went 4-2 (all PSAC Central games) and clinched a PSAC Tournament spot, thanks in large part to the play of Holweger. At third base, she recorded a perfect fielding percentage (5 PO, 13A) and hit .435 (10 for 23) with three home runs and 10 RBIs. Holweger recorded a .826 slugging-percentage and didn’t strikeout once in 23 at bats. In a win at Pitt-Johnstown, she was 3 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. She homered in both games at UPJ. In the game-two win at Mansfield, Holweger was 4 for 5 with a home run, two runs scored and five RBIs.
