For the second time this season senior Kristi Shepps (Willow Street, Pa./Penn Manor) of the Lock Haven University field hockey team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Women’s Athlete of the Week.

 

On Saturday the Lady Eagles were edged by Atlantic 10 foe UMass 2-1, but Shepps provided a spark for The Haven.

 

Shepps put the Lady Eagles up 1-0 just 8:12 into the match when she knocked home a Nicole Weaknecht (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) cross.
