Paige Stuppy of the LHU Field Hockey team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Senior Paige Stuppy’s sensational play in the goal led Lock Haven to pair of huge conference wins on the road.

In the 2-1 victory at VCU she only needed to make two stops, but she did just that. On Sunday in a marathon game at Richmond that went to two overtimes and into a sudden-victory shootout, it was all Stuppy for LHU as she was the biggest key to victory. Stuppy made 10 saves and was dominant in the shootout. Over the two game span, both A-10 wins, Stuppy recorded a 0.82 goals against average and .857 save-percentage.
