Lock Haven Athletics

For the third time this year, junior Gao Xuan (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School) of the Lock Haven University volleyball team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Yesterday she was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week.
 
She led LHU to two conference wins.  Xuan recorded 21 kills and 15 digs against Shippensburg in her first game. 
 
She followed that up a day later with 13 kills and three total blocks in the team’s win over Millersville. 
 
Xuan totaled 34 kills, 19 digs, four blocks and a hitting percentage of .286 in the two matches.
