Maimuna Kenneh of the LHU women’s cross country team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Freshman Maimuna Kenneh of the Lock Haven University women’s basketball team helped pace the Bald Eagles to a 1-1 record at the Fairmont State Tournament hosted by Fairmont University.

In their first game against Concord she recorded 8 points and 11 rebounds in only 15 minutes of play. She was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. In LHU’s second game against Fairmont State Kenneh had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. She went 7-8 from the free throw line and 9 of her 10 rebounds were offensive.

Kenneh currently is third in the conference in rebounds/game.
