Ronnie Perry of the LHU wrestling team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Perry had a big weekend for the Bald Eagles. Perry, ranked No. 20 at 141 in Division I, picked up a pair of strong wins in dual action for the Bald Eagles.

In a tight loss to defending EWL Champion Rider, Perry won by tech fall (17-2; 6:12) over Evan Fidelbus. In Sunday’s lopsided win over George Mason, Perry won majored a talented Tejon Anthony 13-1. Perry’s win over Anthony got the Bald Eagles off a strong start, as LHU led 10-0 and rolled to a win over GMU. Perry has now won six straight matches dating back to his 4-0 run to the Mat-Town Open title on November 27.
