Adrienne Puglia of the LHU women’s track & field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Puglia competed in the weight throw at the Orange & Maroon Invitational hosted at Susquehanna University on February 18.

Puglia dominated the weight throw by throwing a PSAC No. 1 throw of 53-03.5 feet. That mark was nearly seven feet ahead of second place and over eight and a half feet over third place.

All five throws for Puglia were good enough for first place.
