Adrienne Puglia of the LHU women’s track & field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Puglia competed in the weight throw at Penn State National on January 27 and Bucknell Bison Open on January 28.

Puglia's throw of nearly 54 and a half feet was well over the NCAA provisional mark and her previous personal best. She placed ninth overall out of 15 Division I throwers and one PSAC athlete which Puglia beat.

Puglia’s throw of 54-0.5 at the Bucknell Bison Open was the top throw of the day. This marks Puglia's second straight day of hitting a NCAA provisional mark.
Puglia still leads the conference by almost one foot.
