Adrienne Puglia of the LHU women’s track & field team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Puglia competed at the indoor Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships where she was the individual champion in the weight throw.

Puglia dominated the field with a NCAA provisional throw of 56-03.25 feet.

Her throw was three inches ahead of second place and 5-03 feet ahead of third place.
This marks the third consecutive year a Bald Eagle has won the event and Puglia’s first.
