Lock Haven Athletics

Rachel Mouillesseaux of the LHU softball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Senior pitcher Mouillesseaux went 2-0 last week in the circle, winning both of her starts while helping Lock Haven to a 3-1 overall weekend. Over a 14-inning span (2 complete-game wins), she recorded 12 strikeouts, a 0.50 ERA, allowed just two total walks and limited the opposition to a .196 batting average.

Mouillesseaux struck out seven in a win at Slippery Rock, where she allowed just five hits and no earned runs. In another complete-game effort in the win over Millersville, she struck out five.
