Evan McFarland of the LHU baseball team has been named this week Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Senior Evan McFarland (Cottonwood, Ariz./Mingus H.S.) had a huge week. The Haven’s starting catcher exploded at the plate and hit .750 over three starts (3GP/3GS). He was 6 for 8 with four RBIs. He had two doubles and scored four runs.
 
Behind the plate, he didn’t commit an error.
 
The bulk of his dominance at the plate came in a doubleheader sweep of Kutztown Sunday, where he hit .833 over two games (5 for 6). In Game 2 vs. Kutztown, he was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
