Bekah Slattery of the LHU softball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore pitcher had another stellar week in the circle as she went 2-0, winning both of her starts in complete-game style. Over the two-games, both PSAC Central wins (vs. Bloom & Mans), she struck out 11, walked only five, recorded an ERA of 1.75 and limited the opposition to a .179 batting average.

In the game-one win over Bloomsburg, she scattered five hits over seven innings and struck out four. Slattery went all nine to earn the win in game one at Mansfield. She struck out seven.
