Troy Teresak of the LHU Men’s Soccer team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

The LHU men’s soccer team went 2-0 last week with both wins coming by way of upsets vs. top-25 teams. Senior goalkeeper Troy Teresak was a big reason behind those victories as he combined for 14 saves in back-to-back 1-0 shutouts.

Teresak and LHU opened the week with a huge PSAC match vs. Millersville. Teresak finished with four saves including two sensational stops in the second half as LHU knocked off No. 9 and previously unbeaten Millersville. The win also marked the first over perennial PSAC and NCAA Division II regional power Millersville since 2011. Ironically enough it's also the last time LHU downed a top-15 team. Lock Haven's last win over a top-10 team came in 2005.

On Saturday at No. 22 West Virginia Wesleyan, Teresak was the story as he turned in a 10-save effort in the 1-0 road win. The 10 saves are the fourth-most for a single-game in LHU since 1998.
