Shaye Whiteman of the LHU volleyball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

For Whiteman, it was another sensational weekend. The redshirt-sophomore has led the nation (DII) in digs for much of the year and she was on-point again in the Millersville match. She dominated, on the way to 49 total digs, which set a single-match record. It was an all-match record (3-set, 4-set, 5-set), which the next highest checking in at 46 in 2016.

In the Shippensburg game she once again led both teams in digs as she totaled 24 in three sets.
