Kayla Henderson of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

Henderson led the Bald Eagles this past weekend at the PSAC/MEC Challenge, as she went 12-18 from the field while averaging 13.5 points. She hauled in 6.5 boards per game while averaging 25 minutes of action.

In the matchup vs host Fairmont State she scored nine points and had eight rebounds. In the contest against Concord she stepped up in a big way as she scored 18 points, had five rebounds and dished out four assists.
