Ra’eese Hunt of the LHU men’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Men’s Athlete of the Week.

Hunt was an all-around threat that helped lead the Bald Eagles to a 2-1 record that included LHU’s first win at Mansfield in 11 years and a huge home victory over East Stroudsburg.

He was terrific in all three games as he averaged a double-double in the three games as he averaged 15.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. He shot 52.8% from the field and only turned it over .7 per game.

In the game against Bloomsburg he put up 12 points while bringing down 11 rebounds. At Mansfield Hunt had a career night as he scored 24 points, shooting 11-17 from the field. He also hauled in seven rebounds in the contest. Against East Stroudsburg he went 7-9 from the free throw line as he scored 11 points and brought down 12 rebounds.
