Ahnera Parker of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female’s Athlete of the Week.

As a true-freshman, Parker continued her excellent campaign as she averaged 15.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game on 50% (16-32) shooting from the field and 66.7% (4-6) from beyond the arc.

In the contest against nationally ranked #10 California (Pa.), she scored 18 points while hauling in five rebounds on 8-13 shooting from the field. On the road at Shippensburg, in only 21 minutes of action she brought down eight rebounds, including four offensive and netted 16 points. At home vs West Chester Parker capped off the week with an 11 point, eight rebound effort.
