Bink Redman of the LHU women’s basketball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Redman, a freshman, was sensational all week in leading the Bald Eagles to a 1-1 record and helping them get to within a half game of the final playoff spot in the PSAC East. Redman averaged a double-double for the week with 16.5 points per game on 66.7% shooting to go with 10.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

In the game at East Stroudsburg, Redman scoring a career-high 19 points to go with a then career-high 10 rebounds. She was an efficient 7-9 from the floor and 5-7 from the free throw line while also adding a steal. In the win against Shippensburg, Redman scored 14 points and broke her career-high from earlier in the week with 11 rebounds and two steals. She was an efficient 5-9 from the floor while six of her rebounds came on the offensive end.
