Kayla Gee of the LHU softball team has been named this week’s Susquehanna Trailways/GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Gee was dominant on the mound for the Bald Eagles on their spring break trip to Clermont, Florida. Kayla went a perfect 4-0 on the week as she pitched 26 2/3 innings allowing three earned runs while striking out 22 batters.

Highlighting her tremendous pitching was the game against Southern Connecticut State where she pitched a complete game one hitter. In the contest she struck out eight batters. In all she scattered 20 hits while staying in command and only walking 10 batters and throwing no wild pitches.
