Sophomore Marah Foltz of the LHU women’s soccer team has named this week’s GoLHU.com Susquehanna Trailways Female Athlete of the Week.
 
LHU opened the season with 3-1 win at Clarion on Saturday, thanks in large part to the play of Foltz, who factored in on all three Lock Haven goals. She scored twice (21’, 57’) and picked up the assist on the Bald Eagles’ third goal of the match. Down 1-0 Foltz tied the game at 1-1 in the 21st minute and she helped put Lock Haven up 2-1 in the 52nd minute when she assisted on LHU’s tally. Foltz provided an insurance goal in the 57th minute of play.
