Lock Haven Athletics

Matt Cerruti helped lead the Lock Haven men’s basketball team to a 1-1 week including an 88-65 win over Clarion in the team’s PSAC opener Saturday afternoon. For the week, Cerruti averaged an even 20 point per game to go along with five rebounds and two assists. He shot 55.6 percent (15-27) from the field and 63.6 percent (7-11) from three-point land. 

In the bigtime win over Clarion, Cerruti poured in 16 points on 60 percent shooting to go along with five rebounds and three assists. He knocked down four of his six three-point attempts and also tallied a block and a steal.

In the game against Mercyhurst, Cerruti scored 24 points to go with five rebounds and two blocks. He also knocked down three three-pointers
