Lock Haven Athletics

Bekah Slattery of the Lock Haven softball team had a stellar week down at the PFX Tournament. For the week, Slattery made six appearances (five starts) in the team’s 10 games, going 4-1 with five complete games while posting a 1.88 ERA. She finished the week with 52 strikeouts compared to six walks while allowing just 10 earned runs over 37.1 innings pitched.

She allowed opponents to hit just .173 against her when she was in the circle.

Her week was highlighted by wins over Hillsdale and Sioux Falls. In the game against Hillsdale, the 4-3 LHU win in eight innings, Slattery pitched all eight innings while allowing just four hits and striking out 12 for the contest.

In the 3-0 win over Sioux Falls, Slattery pitched a complete-game shut out for LHU. She finished the game allowing just four hits with 12 strikeouts while allowing just one extra-base hit.
