Goalkeeper Camden Cook of the Lock Haven University men's soccer team was been named this week's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
In a two-game span vs. a pair of tough PSAC foes, Cook stood out between the posts and guided the Bald Eagles to a 1-1 record.
 
Despite a narrow 1-0 loss on an impressive late goal vs. Slippery Rock, he was sensational and nearly had the clean sheet. He made three saves including a tremendous diving effort at the end of the first half that kept the game tied at 0-0.
 
In the thrilling PSAC East overtime win at Bloomsburg on Saturday, Cook made eight saves in 106-plus minutes of play and he powered Lock Haven to a 2-1 win. His brilliance and game awareness on the backline also helped spark the play that led to the game-winning goal in overtime.
