For the third time this season freshman standout Jazmin Palma of the Lock Haven University field hockey team was named the Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week.
 
She was a huge part of yesterday’s (Sun, Oct. 20) 4-0 win over Wagner after finishing with a four-point game. Palma scored a goal and dished out a pair of assists in the dominating victory.
 
Palma assisted the first goal, the eventual game-winner, just 5:29 into the game. She also registered an assist on the third goal of the game and capped the scoring late with a brilliant backhand shot to the far post.
 
She leads the team in points with 13 and is tied for the team lead in goals with four. Palma’s five assists are a team-high.
