Lock Haven Athletics

Peaches Nesmith (Philadelphia/Northeast) of the Lock Haven University women's basketball team has been named the GoLHU.com female athlete of the week.

Nesmith scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds in a loss on Wednesday at IUP.  She added two steals and went 2-for-3 from three-point land. 

On Saturday, Nesmith continued her strong play, albeit in a loss at home to No. 20 Gannon.  She scored 15 points and hauled in six more rebounds. 

For the week, Nesmith averaged 17.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3% from the field and 50.0% from behind-the-arc.
