The junior came up huge between the posts in both of LHU's wins this past week. In a 2-0 shutout win over Shepherd, the Bald Eagles goalkeeper made six stops to hold his second clean sheet of the season. Ruiz de Eguilaz made stop after stop in a 2-1 win over West Chester on Saturday, and finished with seven critical stops for 13 total saves on the week. Eguilaz was also honored with PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Week. This marks the third time this year that the Bald Eagles' goalkeeper has been honored by the PSAC as Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Ruiz de Eguilaz's strong save percentage of .725 has him currently ranked sixth in the PSAC and his saves per game of 4.14 is also ranked sixth in the conference.
