At the Bison Open on Friday, Owen's hit a PSAC-qualifying time in the 200-meter and clocked in at 25.70 and finished third in the stacked field.

Owens made her season debut at the Bison Open in the 400m run. In just her second-ever indoor 400m, she ran a 59.38 to win the meet by over a second. That time converted to a 58.61 to rank fourth in the PSAC to this point. 

She then capped off the meet in her third event, the 4x400m relay in which Owen's help lead the team to there best finish of the year, 4:07.79, besting the team's previous best by over 17-seconds.
