On top of earning GoLHU.com Athlete of the Week honors, Kevin Worek has earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Pitcher of the Week honors and grabbed the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week award after his shut-out start versus Nyack.

Worek started on the mound in Sunday's 11-0 win over Nyack. The sophomore picked up the win on five tremendous innings of work. Worek struck out 13 of his 17 batters faced and allowed just one hit, one walk and no earned runs.

The sophomore's 13 strikeout tally is the most in a single game for a Bald Eagle pitcher since 2017 and is tied for the second-most in the PSAC this season.
