Kayleigh Johnson of the LHU women's lacrosse team has been named this week's GoLhu.com female athlete of the week.

Johnson was named PSAC Player of the Week earlier this week.

Johnson was a huge reason behind Lock Haven's 2-0 record last week, where the Lady Eagles outscored PSAC rivals Gannon and Mercyhurst 29-17. Johnson led LHU with six goals and 12 assists.

In the thrilling 14-11 home-win over Gannon, Johnson netted three goals and assisted five others.

In the lopsided, 15-6 road win at rival Mercyhurst, she scored three goals and recorded a remarkable seven assists in one of her best outings of the year.

Johnson's 12 assists last week give her a team-high 38 on the year, which leads the PSAC and is fourth-best in the nation.
