Muthler broke the Lock Haven men's track and field program record in the heptathlon to headline a standout day for the Bald Eagles at the two-day Bison Open & Multi. Muthler scored 4975 points to break a 14-year program record in the heptathlon for the Bald Eagles. Muthler sealed the record and event victory by running a 2:36.24, which broke a Bucknell facility record by eight seconds. Muthler's score is a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and NCAA provisional mark, ranking in the top-20 in the country. Muthler's hep high jump of 6-5 is also a PSAC qualifier and is ranked No. 14 all-time in program history. Muthler was one of three first-place finishes for the Bald Eagles, on a weekend filled with personal bests, PSAC marks and program top-10 finishes.
