Dana Wozniak (Blackstone, Mass./ Mount St. Charles Academy) of LHU’s soccer team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Female Athlete of the Week.

Wozniak has earned two shut outs in her last two outings.

She led the lady Eagles to a 1-0-1 record over that stretch saving all six shots put on net.

Friday against Shippensburg she stopped four Red Raider attempts and helped LHU earn its fifth win of the season.

Even though the team earned a tie against California (Pa.), she faced three shots in the first overtime period and kept her squad in the game.

Wozinak boasts an impressive .706 goals against average this season.

Wozniak and the Lady Eagles will be back in action this afternoon against East Stroudsburg.
