Derrick Watkins (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) of LHU’s football team has been named the www.GoLHU.com Male Athlete of the Week.

Watkins was a bright spot for the Bald Eagles last weekend for the LHU defense. He tallied 13 tackles which was a team high Saturday against Cal. The 13 tackles were also the most in any single game thus far for a Bald Eagle.

That gives Watkins 29 tackles on the season and puts him at fifth on the team.

The Bald Eagles are back in action this Saturday for homecoming at Hubert Jack Stadium against PSAC west rival Clarion. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
